A queen excluder is used to restrict the queen’s movement up into the honey super while allowing worker bees to move freely. This ensures that the honey supers contain only honey and not brood (eggs, larvae, and pupae).
Our queen excluders are available in both 8-frame and 10-frame sizes and are made from durable, low carbon steel. They are precision welded to provide a precisely spaced grid, with the wire grid edged (bound) with metal on all sides.
