Unlike a normal fin tube, which you must put on before tensioning the wire, the snap-fin is put on after the wire is tensioned. A quick twist of the wrist and it snaps onto the wire.
Slide on of the insulators onto your wire until one of the sides is firmly in place
Snap the second side onto the wire. When the wire snaps into place, you will hear a loud click.
Now that your insulator is snapped into place, you’re ready to staple it to the post.
